... my name is Phindi Mashinini, I am a private midwife based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. My experience in midwifery spans four decades in both the private and public healthcare sectors. My journey has taken me through celebrated institutions such as Parklane Clinic, Linkwood Clinic, Genesis Clinic, and has even extended internationally to Saudi Arabia and the UAE as a Labour and Delivery Midwife.
My unwavering passion for midwifery led me to establish my private practice in 2005. Today, I have the privilege of consulting with and delivering beautiful babies at the Oxford Midwifery Unit as well as Genesis Clinic.
I believe that the birthing journey should be uniquely cantered on the desires and needs of the mother. As a midwife, my role is to empower and support you through every step, helping you to meet your baby for the very first time.
